Cogo is a free app and real-time API that helps people understand, reduce and offset their carbon footprints. Powered by Open-Banking technology, the Cogo App is integrated with 35 banks in the UK.

The Cogo API enables banks and other corporations to integrate carbon and other sustainability data into their customer experiences - for example providing a bank customer a monthly carbon footprint statement or showing an online supermarket shopper the percentage of their products that are made by locally-owned businesses.

About the role:

This role combines client management, product delivery, creativity and problem solving skills. It advises and guides our clients - including major financial institutions - to deliver on Cogo’s vision to their customers. This position works closely with sales, clients, product and engineering experts at Cogo, and helps to turn high level visions into detailed designs, and brings together the teams to deliver. This role places itself, the client and the delivery team at the epicenter of a multi-disciplinary, dispersed group of experts, to coordinate and transform visions of world-first solutions into technical realities. 


  • Assisting in pre-sales client evaluations, demonstrations and tenders
  • Being continually aware of new products and releases through regular updates with Product Managers
  • Liaising between customers, product support and development staff
  • Being continually aware of potential opportunities for product, services and sales
  • Conducting client education workshops to ensure product knowledge for optimum user experience
  • Monitoring client support activities (ensuring client problems and queries are being dealt with in an effective manner)
  • Communicating vital client information to relevant sales, pre-sales, product, engineering and client support personnel
  • Facilitating the integration of the client’s system and ours - client outcomes and Cogo outcomes
  • Communicating back to product teams on client feature requests, managing client expectations and timeframes for delivery 
  • Interpret complex problems and identify optimal solutions - and then work with the delivery team to make them a reality

Critical Expertise: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication 
  • Proficient with software and good understanding of technology products,  platforms and apps 
  • Previous sales and support experience and/or familiarity with sales processes 
  • Expert project management skills


  • Fluent in English and Native in Japanese
  • Experience in financial services and working with large corporates

  • Able to work some hours outside of 9am-5pm, for meetings with our Global team
